PRE-READING ACTIVITIES
o Ask students questions making predictions about the story looking at the picture on the front cover of the book .

Realizar preguntas sobre predicciones del cuento mirando la ilustración en la tapa del libro.

o Match pictures to the new vocabulary (Use of IWB-Interactive Whiteboard)

Unir los dibujos con las palabras nuevas. (Uso de la PDI.)


WHILE READING ACTIVITIES


o Listen to the story attentively and say “why the Witch does magic tricks to her poor black cat, Wilbur”. (Use of IWB-Interactive Whiteboard and the story Dvd.)

Escuchar el cuento atentamente y decir “por qué la Bruja hace trucos de magia a su pobre grato negro, Wilbur”. (Uso de la PDI y del Dvd Winnie the Witch. )


o Check the predictions done on the pre-reading stage about the story.

Comparar las predicciones hechas al comienzo del cuento.



AFTER READING ACTIVITIES

o Compare the story with the mother tongue story. Comparar los textos leídos en el idioma extranjero y la lengua materna.

o Draw the cat Wilbur and describe it. (Use of the copybook)

Dibujar el gato Wilbur y describirlo.

o Create your personal witch and describe it. (Use of the copybook)

Creación individual de la bruja y la descripción de la misma.

Sing the Chants on the Dvd and complete the chants. Cantamos los cánticos del Dvd y completamos los cánticos.
