PRE-READING ACTIVITIES
o Ask students questions making predictions about the story looking at the picture on the front cover of the book .
Realizar preguntas sobre predicciones del cuento mirando la ilustración en la tapa del libro.
o Match pictures to the new vocabulary (Use of IWB-Interactive Whiteboard)
Unir los dibujos con las palabras nuevas. (Uso de la PDI.)
o Show pictures cards to provide the meaning of animals (Use of Pet and Farm Animal Cards)
Mostrar tarjetas de animales presentando a los que aparecen en el cuento.
WHILE READING ACTIVITIES
o Listen to the story attentively and find out “Ted’s clever plan”.
Escuchar el cuento atentamente y descubrir “El plan astuto de Ted”.
o Check the predictions done on the pre-reading stage about the story.
Verificar las predicciones realizadas sobre el cuento en la etapa pre-lectura.
AFTER READING ACTIVITIES
o Match the animal words with the corresponding picture.(Use of IWB-Interactive Whiteboard)
Unir las palabras de animales con el dibujo correspondiente. (Uso de la PDI.)
o Draw the animal you liked most and describe it. (Use of the copybook)
Dibujar el animal que mas les gustó y describirlo.
